Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Malvern East man Andres Gil.
The 86-year-old was last seen on Waverley Road at a care facility about 2.30pm.
Police and family have concerns for his welfare due to his age and a medical condition which may leave him confused and disorientated.
Andres is described as 157cm tall, with a medium build. He comes from a Spanish background and has limited english.
He spent a lot of his working life in Echuca and may be trying to make his way back there.
An image of Andres has been released in the hope someone recognises him and has information on his current whereabouts.
Anyone who sights Andres is urged to contact Malvern Police Station on 8823 5600.
