Police seek help to find Ali Sari over series of incidents across Melbourne

Southern Metro Region Crime Team detectives are appealing for information to help locate Ali Sari.

The 18-year-old Shepparton man is wanted in relation to a series of alleged incidents across Melbourne in recent days.

The incidents include:

• An aggravated burglary on Pasadena Crescent, Bentleigh East about 8.40pm on 26 May;

• An aggravated carjacking in Anderson Street, Port Melbourne about 9pm on May 26;

• An aggravated burglary on Ivy Close, Derrimut about 12.10am on 27 May; and

• An aggravated burglary in Avoca Avenue, Mernda about 4am this morning.

Police previously arrested a 17-year-old Broadmeadows boy in relation to the incidents at a shopping centre on Bacchus Marsh Road, Corio yesterday (28 May).

He was charged with one count of aggravated burglary, three counts of home invasion, five counts of theft of motor vehicle and three counts of theft, and was remanded to appear at a children's court at a later date.

Investigators have released an image of Sari in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information on his whereabouts.

Sari is perceived as being of African appearance and about 175cm tall with a medium build.

He is known to frequent the Point Cook area.

Police are calling on the 18-year-old to attend a police station.
