Police seek help to find missing boy at Deception Bay

Police are seeking assistance from the community to locate a boy reported missing from Deception Bay this afternoon.

The 13-year-old boy was last seen outside a shopping centre on Bay Road around 1.30pm and has not been seen since.

Police hold serious concerns for his welfare due to his age.

The boy is described as an Aboriginal boy, around 160cm tall with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing black shorts and shoes and a maroon shirt.

Police are encouraging the boy, or anyone who knows his whereabouts, to come forward.
