Police seek help to find missing boy at Southport 11 August

Police are seeking public assistance to locate an 11-year-old boy reported missing from his Southport address since yesterday.

The boy was last seen with a friend around 9.45am at an address at Main Beach.

He is described as having an Aboriginal appearance, dark complexion, 140cm tall with brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing an army style camouflage shirt and black shorts.

Police hold concerns for his welfare due to his young age.

The boy is known to frequent shopping centres in the Southport area.
