Police seek help to find missing child at West Pennant Hills

A search is underway for a child believed to be missing from Sydney's north west.

Neelan Thirunavukkarasu, aged six, was last seen about 3.10pm on Brett Place after leaving a nearby school on Church Street at West Pennant Hills.

Officers from Ryde Police Area Command were notified and a search, with assistance from the Traffic & Highway Patrol Command, Public Order & Riot Squad (PORS), Polair and the Dog Unit, is underway.

Neelan is described as being of Indian Sub - Continental appearance, thin build, and with short black hair.

He was last seen wearing school uniform – blue shirt, grey pants, and black shoes.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Neelan is urged to come forward and contact Triple Zero (000).
