Police seek help to find missing girl at Sunshine Coast 8 February

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a 12-year-old girl reported missing from Birtinya last night, February 7.

The girl was last seen leaving a property along Cape Street around 6.45pm and has not made contact with family since.

She is described as Caucasian, approximately 165 centimetres tall, with brown, shoulder-length hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black tshirt with red lines on the front, black shorts and no shoes.

Police and family hold concerns for the girl's welfare due to her young age.

Anyone with information about the girl's whereabouts is urged to contact police.
