Police are seeking urgent public assistance to locate a 79-year-old man reported missing in Townsville City this morning, June 14.
John Hunter, pictured, was last seen leaving a Mariners Drive address, heading towards The Strand, about 9.20am.
Police and family hold concerns for John as he has a medical condition that causes confusion.
He is described as Caucasian, approximately 179cm tall, with a slim build, grey hair and brown eyes.
John was last seen wearing black lace up shoes, white socks, green shorts and a dark blue t-shirt.
Residents are urged to check their properties and nearby structures for signs of John.
