Police seek help to find missing man at Cairns North

Police are seeking public assistance to help locate a man missing in Cairns.

79-year-old Gary Richardson was last seen around 12.35 this afternoon at a medical facility in Cairns North but has not been seen since.

Concerns are held for Mr Richardson's welfare as he has a medical condition and he is vulnerable when he is alone.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 180cm tall and has a bald head and hazel coloured eyes.

Mr Richardson was last seen wearing a short sleeved black and white shirt, denim shorts and red thongs.

Anyone who may have seen him is being urged to contact police.
