Police seek help to find missing man at Charters Towers

Police are seeking public assistance to locate a man reported missing from Charters Towers.

Fred Douglas (pictured), aged 69 was last heard from on the evening of March 27, when he indicated he was at his residence on Haldane Road.

Concerns are held for Fred's welfare as he suffers from a medical condition and his disappearance is out of character.

It is believed he may be travelling in his blue Hyundai Getz, similar to the one pictured, with Queensland registration 907YJV.

Mr Douglas is described as Caucasian, 180 centimetres tall with grey hair and blue eyes.

Anyone who may have seen Fred or his car is urged to contact police.
