Police seek help to find missing man at Mansfield

Police are seeking public assistance to help locate a 61-year-old man reported missing from Mansfield.

John Lute was last seen at a Morialta St address at 8.15am today when he went for a bicycle ride to the Gateway Bridge and back.

At 1pm it is believed John briefly returned home before leaving on his bike again. He has not returned home since.

Concerns are held for Mr Lute's welfare as he suffers from a medical condition and may become disoriented. Additionally, he is visiting from interstate and may have become lost.

He is described as Caucasian, 190cm tall, with a slim build, grey hair and grey beard. He was last seen wearing a high visibility yellow shirt, black shorts, orange backpack, black cycling shoes and was riding a black 'Giant' hybrid bicycle.

Police are appealing for anyone with further information to contact them.
