Police, Search and Rescue, the Airwing and SES are currently searching the Alexandra and Eildon areas for missing 89-year-old Glen Waverly man Bruce Garside.
Bruce was last seen yesterday on Knights Drive about 12pm and was driving his blue 1994 Honda Accord with registration FMS051.
Police and family have concerns for Bruce's welfare due to his age and existing medical conditions that require medication.
Bruce is Caucasian in appearance with short grey hair and a thin build.
He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, blue and white checkered shirt, blue suit pants, black shoes and may be wearing glasses.
Investigators have released an image of Bruce in the hope that someone may have information on his current whereabouts.
