Police seek help to find missing woman at Marcoola

Sunshine Coast police are seeking urgent public assistance to help locate a 54-year-old woman who failed to return from a walk at Marcoola last week.

Jenny Atherton was last seen on Lexie Street last Wednesday (November 9) around 9am, and has limited mobility due to an injury.

She is described as Caucasian, shoulder-length blonde hair, proportionate build and wears red-rimmed glasses. She has a tattoo on her wrists and is currently in a moon boot.

Family and police are concerned for her welfare due to the disappearance being out of character. Jenny has not been in contact with family or friends, with family last receiving a voicemail message from her later that morning (November 9).

Investigations indicate Jenny's mobile phone has not be active since the afternoon of November 10 (South Coolum).

Anyone who has seen Jenny is asked to contact police.
