Police seek help to find missing woman at Surfers Paradise 6 January

Police are appealing for urgent public assistance to locate a 56-year-old woman reported missing from Surfers Paradise this afternoon (January 6).

Deborah Van Leeuwen (pictured) was last seen at a Salerno Street address at approximately midday, and is believed to have left on foot.

Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare as she has a medical condition and may be disoriented.

Deborah is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 150cm tall with a broad build, brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a dark blue top with a white pattern, apricot coloured skirt and thongs.

Police appeal to local residents to check their properties, and ask anyone with information regarding Deborah's whereabouts to immediately contact police.
