Police seek help to find missing woman at Mount Carbine

Queensland Police are urgently appealing for public assistance to help locate a 34-year-old woman and two children reported missing from Mount Carbine yesterday.

Marziyeh Banilohi was last seen on Mount Spurgeon Rd around 7am on Thursday, March 9, and has not been seen since.

It is believed the woman may be travelling around the Mareeba or Mossman area and is believed to be travelling with two girls known to her, aged 1 and 2.

Police believe they are travelling in a red 2004 Honda CR-V with a black bonnet with QLD Registration 477FQ2 (pictured).

Family and police are concerned for Marziyeh and the children's welfare as the disappearance is considered out of character.

She is described as having an Olive complexion, approximately 160cm tall, with dark hair and dark eyes.

The children are described as having Olive complexion with light brown hair.

Police are appealing to Marziyeh, or anyone who might have any information about their whereabouts, to contact police.
