Police seek help to find missing woman at Rollingstone

Police are seeking public assistance to help locate a 39-year-old woman missing from Rollingstone since yesterday.

Tania Head was last seen around 5.30pm yesterday at a camping ground on Rollingstone Street. She left on foot towards Pace Road and has not been seen or made contact with her family since.

Police and family hold concerns for her safety as she has a medical condition.

A helicopter, police and SES with drones and ATVs are currently searching the area around the Rollingstone Street and Balgal Beach Road campsite.

Investigators are urging anyone who may have seen Ms Head on the Bruce Highway at Rollingstone or drove her to Townsville, to contact police.

Ms Head is described as Caucasian, approximately 170cm tall with a slim build, fair complexion, light brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black dress and black cardigan.

Anyone with information or knows her whereabouts is urged to contact police.
