Police seek help to find missing woman at Scarborough

Police are seeking public assistance to help locate a 73-year-old woman reported missing from Scarborough on Friday, August 29.

Denise Franklin (pictured) was last seen at a Herne Road residence in the afternoon. She made contact with her friend around 8.30pm on Saturday, August 30 via phone but has not been seen or heard from since.

Police and family hold concerns for her safety, as she suffers from a medical condition.

Mrs Franklin is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 150cm tall with a slim build and fair complexion with brown eyes and blonde hair.

It is unknown what Mrs Franklin was wearing at the time of going missing.

Mrs Franklin does not have access to any vehicle and could be using public transport. She is known to frequent a chemist on Redcliffe Parade, Redcliffe.

Anyone who sees her or has any information in relation to her whereabouts is urged to contact police.
