Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Chenna.
The 20-year-old was last seen at his home in Belmont on 14 August.
He left the address on foot and has not been seen since and has not made contact with his family overseas.
Police are concerned for Chenna's welfare as his disappearance is out of character.
An image of Chenna has been released in the hope someone may recognise him and provide information on his whereabouts.
Chenna is described as Indian in appearance with short dark hair.
Anyone who sees Chenna or has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Waurn Ponds Police Station on 5247 3500.
