Police are currently searching for missing Bairnsdale man Newton.
The 62-year-old was last seen at a residential care facility on Rupert Street just after 4.30pm
He is described as 178cm tall
Newton was wearing black track pants, dark grey zip up cardigan and a lighter grey long sleeve top underneath.
Police and family have concerns for his welfare due to medical conditions.
Police have released an image of Newton in the hope someone may know of his current whereabouts.
Anyone with information or who has seen Newton is urged to contact Bairnsdale Police Station on 5150 2600.
