Police are appealing for public assistance to locate missing Ascot Vale man Timothy.
The 44-year-old was last seen walking along Homer Street in Moonee Ponds towards Moonee Ponds Railway Station just before 6pm this evening.
It is understood Timothy boarded a city-bound train shortly after.
Timothy is described as 170cm tall, solid build with a light beard and facial hair.
He was last seen wearing an olive or mustard-coloured coat, black pants, black runners and a blue North Melbourne Football Club cap.
Police and family have concerns have serious concerns for Timothy's welfare as he is non-verbal and has autism.
Timothy walks at a slow pace while looking at his feet.
He is known to frequent Kensington and Southern Cross railway stations.
Police have released images of Timothy hoping someone may recognise him.
Anyone who sights Timothy is asked to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
