Police are currently searching for and appealing for public assistance to help locate missing woman Panagiotta.
The 89-year-old was last seen leaving an address on Victoria Street in Brunswick on Saturday, 8 March about 1pm.
Police and family have concerns for her welfare as her disappearance is extremely out of character.
Panagiotta is perceived to be Caucasian, with white, straight hair.
She was last seen wearing a black top, a long navy-blue skirt, glasses, black slip on shoes, wearing a gold cross necklace and carrying a black bag.
It is believed Panagiotta will be travelling on foot in the area.
She does not have her mobile phone with her.
Police have released an image of Panagiotta in the hope someone recognises her and can provide information regarding her current whereabouts.
