Police seek info after attempted ram raid in Bingara

Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward after an attempted ram raid at Bingara over the weekend, NSW Police say.

Shortly after 3.30am on Sunday 29 July 2018 police believe that two offenders attempted to jemmy an ATM from the wall of a financial institution in Maitland Street at Bingara.

The second vehicle, a Toyota Hilux and trailer were stolen from Bingara during Saturday evening.

The Toyota was located about 9am on Sunday at the Old Gulargambone Mission while the trailer was located within the Bingara township.

The Toyota and several other items have been seized for forensic examination.

Police from New England Police District have appealed to the community for anyone with information to come forward.
