Police Seek Info After Child Approach in Sanctuary Point

Police are appealing for information following reports of a child approach on the South Coast.

Police were told about 11.40am yesterday (Thursday 11 December 2025), a 13-year-old girl was riding her bike near Palm Beach, Sanctuary Point when she was approached by a man in a vehicle.

The man exchanged words with her, before the teenager rode away on Greville Avenue, Sanctuary Point.

Police have released images of a ca and they would like to speak to the owner, who could assist with their inquiries.

The car is described as grey silver cab utility.

The driver is described as a man, Caucasian in appearance, aged in his mid 40s,wearing a light blue shirt with shorts.

Police would like anyone who was in the vicinity who may have dashcam footages around Greville Avenue, Sanctuary Point to come forward and contact Nowra Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
