Police have appealed to the community for information after several firearms were stolen from a home in the Blue Mountains yesterday, NSW Police say.
About 9.45am on Monday 6 March 2018, a woman locked and secured her home in Dellview Street at Glenbrook before leaving.
Upon her return six hours later, the woman noticed that items had been moved and a side door to the garage had been forced.
Four firearms had been stolen from a gun safe, along with a quantity of ammunition.
A Tikka T3 Tactical 308 rifle, a CZ .22 rifle, a Beretta 12 gauge shotgun and a Winchester rifle with scope were all stolen.
The occupant notified police and officers from Blue Mountains Police District attended.
Police would like to speak with anyone who may have any information relating to the theft of the firearms and urge them to contact Crime Stoppers.
