Police Seek Info After Gundagai Antique Store Break-in

Police are appealing for information following a break and enter at an antique store in the state's Riverina region.

Between 5.30pm on Saturday (25 February 2023) and 8.40am yesterday (Sunday 26 February 2023), an antique store on Annie Pyers Drive, Gundagai, was broken into, with jewellery worth more than $315,000, allegedly stolen from the store.

Officers attached to Riverina Police District were notified and commenced an investigation.

As inquiries continue, police urge anyone with information – including anyone who was in the area at the time and saw or heard anything suspicious – to contact Cootamundra Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
