Police seek info following investigations into hydro house in Bankstown

Police are appealing for information as part of ongoing investigations into fraudulently leased homes modified for hydroponic setup, NSW Police say.

Detectives from Bankstown Local Area Command launched an investigation in January 2017 following the discovery of a hydroponic setup at a home in School Street, Padstow.

As part of their inquiries, police established a man using fraudulent documents in the name of Thai Vu TRAN privately leased the home through an online website.

Police believe the man may have been responsible for leasing other properties across the state.

Investigations are continuing and detectives are urging anyone who may have leased a property to this person, or anyone with information to contact Bankstown Police Station via Crime Stoppers.
