Police seek info following road rage incident in Lilyfield

Police are appealing for information following an alleged road rage incident in Sydney’s inner west, NSW Police say.

Shortly after11pm yesterday today, a man was driving his Holden Commodore along Parramatta Road, Ashfield, when he noticed a Chrysler sedan following him.

At the intersection of Parramatta Road and Wattle Street, it will be alleged several males inside the Chrysler began to verbally abuse the man and throw objects at his car.

The man continued driving along City West Link with the vehicle continuing to follow.

Police have been told, when the man got the intersection of Balmain Road, four men exited the Chrysler and started kicking the Holden Commodore and breaking the mirrors, before fleeing the location.

NSW Ambulance Paramedics treated the man at the scene for shock.

Officers attached to Leichhardt Local Area Command have commenced an investigation into the incident.
