Police Seek Info on Stolen Vehicles in Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses after two vehicles were stolen from a council building this morning.

Between 1am and 2am, two Ford Ranger Utilities were reported stolen from McDonnell Shire Council, following an unlawful entry at the premises.

At 4am, the vehicles were observed on CCTV driving dangerously in the Alice Springs CBD, including on the lawns adjacent to the Alice Springs Local Court.

Police have since recovered the abandoned vehicles at locations around Alice Springs.

Strike Force Viper are investigating the incidents.
