Police seek information after armed robbery at Orange

Police are appealing for public information following an armed robbery in the state's Central West.

About 8.40am today (22 January 2020), a man, armed with a knife, entered a supermarket on Dalton Street, Orange, and threatened staff before fleeing with cash and cigarettes.

No one was injured during the incident.

The man has been described as being of a tanned complexion, about 160cm tall with a thin build and was wearing a black hooded jumper with black trackpants and black shoes.

The man fled the location and was last seen heading north on Myora Place.

Officers from Central West Police District attended and established a crime scene, and an investigation is underway.
