Police are appealing for public assistance following an assault on the rail network in Sydney's north west last month.
Officers attached to Parramatta Police Area Command responded to reports of an assault at Parramatta Railway Station that occurred about 4:20am on Thursday 13 August 2026.
Officers were told a 37-year-old man was assaulted by an unknown man who left the scene prior to police arrival.
The 37-year-old man sustained grazes and bruising however did not require medical treatment.
Police attached to the North West Police Transport Command commenced an investigation and have released images of a man who they believe can assist with inquiries.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, believed to be aged in his late 20s-30s and of medium build.
When last seen, he was wearing a yellow hi-visibility jacket, dark pants, brown work boots and a black cap.
