Investigators are appealing for information after a business was destroyed by fire at Casino early this morning.
About 3.40am today (Thursday 9 March 2023), police were called to a business on Barker Street, Casino, following reports of a fire.
Firefighters from Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the fire; however, the building sustained significant damage.
Police from Richmond Police District attended the premises and established a crime scene.
At the scene, police have been told a man was seen near the premises, before an explosion was heard, and the building caught fire.
Investigators are concerned that the man may have suffered injuries in the explosion, and police believe he may need to seek medical help.
