Police Seek Information After Fire At Gundagai Business

Police are appealing for information from the public after a fire damaged a business in Gundagai earlier this week.

Emergency services were called to Sheridan Street, Gundagai, shortly before 8pm on Tuesday (17 June 2025) and found a shopfront alight.

Officers attached to Riverina Police District established a perimeter as Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the fire.

There were no reports of injuries as a result of the fire and there was no structural damage caused to the premises.

Police established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation into the fire, which is believed to have been deliberately lit.

As inquiries continue, anyone with information or dashcam footage is urged to contacted Riverina police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
