Police seek information after firearms stolen - Oxley Police District

Police are appealing for public assistance after firearms were stolen during a break and enter in the state's northwest.

Officers attached to Oxley Police District have been told that two rifles were stolen from a safe at a property on Tarlee Road, Edgeroi, between 4.30pm on Monday 10 January 2022 and 7am Tuesday 11 January 2022.

A crime scene was established and has been examined by specialist forensic police.

As part of inquiries, police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or suspicious activity in the area – or who has dashcam or mobile phone footage from the area during the mentioned period – to contact Narrabri Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
