Police seek information after home invasion earlier this year - Monaro

Police are appealing for information as investigations continue into a home invasion in the Monaro Police District earlier this year.

About 11.15pm on Friday 2 April 2021, a man and woman entered a home on Sharp Street, Cooma, and confronted the occupants, a man, aged 47, and a woman, aged 35.

The unknown man produced a firearm and threatened the occupants before a scuffle broke out and a shot was fired into the ceiling.

The armed man and woman fled the scene in a grey utility prior to police arrival.

There were no reports of physical injuries.

Officers attached to Monaro Police District attended and established a crime scene.

Detectives commenced an investigation under Strike Force Davesta.
