Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a hit-run in Lake Wendouree this morning.
It is understood a white VT Holden Commodore station wagon collided with a blue Nissan Pathfinder about 6.20am on Wendouree Parade, near the intersection of Windmill Drive.
The Holden fled the scene and was located abandoned about 8.15am in Bell Street, Redan.
The female driver of the Nissan was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators are still searching for the driver and are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a crime report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
