Police Seek Information After Serious Crash - Mulawala

Police are appealing for information following a serious crash in the state's south.

About 1am Tuesday (20 January 2026), emergency services were called to Spring Drive, Mulwala about 40km west of Corowa, following reports of a single vehicle crash.

Officers attached to Murray Rivier Polcie District responded and found a sedan on its roof, with a 23-year-old male driver trapped inside.

Emergency services worked to free the driver, before NSW Ambulance treated him for head and pelvic injuries.

Following initial treatment, he was flown to Royal Alfred Hospital in Melbourne in a critical condition.

A crime scene was established and investigation commenced into the circumstances of the crash.

Police are appealing for anyone with dashcam footage of the Silver Holden Commodore sedan or information about the crash to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
