Police seek information after sexual touching at Sanctuary Point

Police are appealing for information after a woman was sexually touched while on a walk in the Shoalhaven region this week.

About 7pm on Wednesday 15 April 2020, a 29-year-old woman was walking on Larmer Avenue, Sanctuary Point, when she passed a man wearing a hooded jacket, at the same time a car drove past.

The woman turned onto The Wool Road, when the man returned and approached her.

Police have been told the man grabbed the woman and sexually touched her, before running off east along The Wool Road.

The woman reported the incident to South Coast Police District and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is underway.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged between 20 and 30, about 180cms tall, with a dark beard. He was last seen wearing a dark green/olive hooded rain jacket, black knee length shorts with bare feet.

Police are urging anyone with information, or who may have footage from the area at the time to contact crime stoppers or South Coast Police.

In particular, police would like to speak to the driver of the vehicle that drove past before the incident.
