Police seek information after suspicious unit complex fire at Parkes

Police are appealing for information following a suspicious unit complex fire in the state's Central West last weekend.

About 3.40pm on Sunday 5 September 2021, emergency services were called to Grenfell Street, Parkes, following reports of a fire.

Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the blaze, which partially destroyed the complex.

Two women, aged 31 and 20 and a man aged 44, jumped from the second story to avoid being burnt by the fire.

The 31-year-old woman suffered minor injuries to her hand.

Officers from Central West Police District established a crime scene, which was examined by specialist police.

As inquiries continue, into the circumstances surrounding the cause of the fire, police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
