Police seek information from family, Wynnum suspicious death investigation

As part of the ongoing investigation into the suspicious death of Jason Guise, the family will today make an appeal to the community for information.

Jason Guise, 45 was reported missing to police on May 4, 2019 having last been seen in Charlotte Street, Wynnum on April 21 when he visited a food truck around 7pm.

Following the missing persons appeal, Jason Guise's body was located in a sewage tank in Wynnum on May 8.

The suspicious death of Jason Guise is now the subject of Operation Romeo Kickoff, a joint investigation by Bayside CIB and the Homicide Investigation Unit.

Today, Barry Guise will join police to appeal for information from the public.

A link to vision previously released by police can be accessed below. The vision depicts Jason at a service station in Wynnum on the afternoon of April 21 and later walking through the Woolworths carpark from Florence Street towards Charlotte Street at 6.38pm on April 21.
