Police are appealing for public assistance regarding an investigation into a hit and run traffic crash at Little Mountain on the Sunshine Coast overnight.
Initial investigations indicate about 11.30pm, a 29-year-old Sunshine Coast man was struck by a vehicle while riding an electric skateboard along Parkview Drive, Little Mountain.
The man was located a short time later and was transported to hospital by emergency services for treatment of serious injuries.
No vehicle was located at the scene at the time of the man's discovery.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
Investigators urge anyone who travelled on or near Parkview Drive between 10.30pm and midnight to come forward. Anyone with CCTV or dash cam vision from the area that may be able to assist with investigations is also urged to talk to police.
