Northern Territory Police are seeking public assistance to identify a man who was involved in an assault incident this afternoon.
At around 5:30pm, an unknown male has approached a young girl on Lovegrove Street in Ludmilla and allegedly assaulted her.
The male offender has fled the scene when a sibling of the young girl ran to her aid.
Police are actively searching for the male. He is described as being approximately 165 centimetres tall, with brown skin, black hair, wearing a white t-shirt with the number 53 on it, dark navy shorts and no shoes.
Anyone who may have seen this man is urged to immediately contact police on 131 444. Please quote reference number 9700448.
