Police Seek Information On Burglary In Alice Springs 25 August

The Northern Territory Police Force is calling for information in relation to a burglary that occurred in Alice Springs earlier this morning.

Around 4am, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre (JESCC) received a report that a group of offenders were attempting to unlawfully enter a racing club on the Stuart Highway in Kilgariff.

Just after 4:10am, police attended the scene and confirmed that entry had been gained. An office was allegedly ransacked during the incident with damage being caused to internal walls and doors. Cash and alcohol were also confirmed stolen from the club.

CCTV was reviewed, capturing ten offenders inside the premises who fled the scene prior to police arrival.

A crime scene was declared, and the offenders remain outstanding.
