Northern Territory Police have arrested a 44-year-old male following the death of another man overnight in Alice Springs.
Shortly before midnight, police responded to a report of a serious assault at an address on Gap Road. Upon arrival, police located a 37-year-old man with serious injuries. The man passed away at the scene.
The 44-year-old male was arrested and conveyed to Alice Springs Watch House. He remains in police custody.
