Police seek information on Death in Knuckey Lagoon

Northern Territory Police are renewing their call for information and witnesses as part of their investigation into the death of a man in Knuckey Lagoon earlier this month.

Major Crash Investigation Unit detectives now believe that four vehicles may have passed the scene one minute prior to the incident on 6 January.

Detective Senior Sergeant Brendan Lindner said, "A traffic camera has revealed four cars travelling outbound on Stuart Highway at Knuckey Lagoon between 9.03 and 9.05pm. We strongly urge the occupants of these vehicles to make contact with police as they may be able to assist with enquiries. They are not considered suspects in any way, but may be witnesses."

The vehicles are a silver Toyota Landcruiser, a mid-sized dark blue or black hatch, a white 4WD utility and a small white sedan.

Anyone with information or dash cam footage from the area between 8:30pm and 9:05pm is urged to contact police on 131 444 and quote reference 9530161.
