Police Seek Information On Domestic Violence In Alice Springs 5 October

Police are investigating a domestic violence incident that occurred in Alice Springs on Friday 3 October 2025.

It is alleged that on Friday, a female was forced into a vehicle by her male partner at a residence in Alice Springs.

The following day, the vehicle the offender and victim were travelling in became bogged in bushland approximately 15 kilometres south of Alice Springs. The victim was able to flee the vehicle and seek help from people who were in the area, who contacted police.

Police attended the scene, seized the vehicle, and conducted an extensive search of the surrounding area with assistance from general duties members, the Dog Operations Unit and drone operators.

The alleged offender remains outstanding, and investigations are ongoing.
