Police seek information on Incident - Acacia Hills

Detectives from the Serious Crime Squad are investigating an incident where two men suffered serious injuries at an Acacia Hills residence.

Police allege two men, one aged 49, attended the residence of a 34-year-old man around 9:45pm on Sunday, 26 January. The 49-year-old exited his vehicle where he was allegedly struck to the head with a blunt object by the 34-year-old. The 49-year-old got back into his vehicle then allegedly ran over the 34-year-old.

Police attended the residence and arrested the 49-year-old male. Both males were conveyed to Royal Darwin Hospital by St John Ambulance. The 34-year-old was later transported to Adelaide by CareFlight with what is believed to be serious spinal and leg injuries. The 49-year-old remains in police custody following the incident.

Detectives believe this is an isolated incident and is not connected with other offending.
