Police seek information on Robbery at Tennant Creek 12 January

Northern Territory Police are calling for information after a woman was allegedly targeted by a group of youths in a staff car park of the Tennant Creek Hospital.

About 8am yesterday, the victim, upon entering the car park, was allegedly grabbed and pulled from behind by a female youth, before stealing the victim's handbag and fleeing the scene with two other female youths.

Shortly after the incident, the victim discovered her stolen handbag a short distance away; however, her purse was missing. Subsequent investigation revealed that the victim's credit cards had been illicitly utilised to purchase various items.

Tennant Creek Criminal Investigation Branch has taken charge of the investigation and is seeking information from the public to identify the individuals involved.
