Police seek information on Robbery - Malak 8 September

Northern Territory Police are calling for information relating to a robbery in Malak on Monday night.

Around 11:40pm, a man parked in a shopping centre carpark was assaulted and threatened. He sought help from a passing motorist. The passing motorist then drove the victim to Karama, with the offender and another man allegedly following them in the victim's vehicle.

At Karama the offenders allegedly threatened the victim again before fleeing in the victim's car.

The vehicle was later found on fire in Karama.

Detective Senior Sergeant Brett Cottier said, "The offenders in this matter remain outstanding, and we are seeking information from the public that will assist us in identifying and arresting the offenders.

"Anyone who was in the vicinity of the shopping centres in Malak or Karama on Monday night between 11:30pm and 12:30am with information, CCTV or dash-cam footage that may assist this investigation is asked to contact Police on 131 444 and quote reference 9786813."
