Police Seek Information: Traffic Crash, Morningside

Police are appealing for witnesses following a traffic crash in Morningside last night, where a young woman sustained serious injuries.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Bennets Road and Wynnum Road around 8.10pm, following reports of a crash between a Ford F350 truck and Holden Barina.

The driver of the Barina, an 18-year-old girl, was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious-but-stable condition.

Her passenger, an 18-year-old boy, was also transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital as a precaution.

The alleged driver of the Ford, a man in his 30s , is assisting police.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash, including anyone with CCTV or dashcam vision, to contact Policelink.
