Police seek information: Traffic crash, Merrimac

Police are appealing for information from the public regarding an alleged road rage incident and subsequent two vehicle crash at Merrimac on the afternoon of August 13.

At approximately 4pm, a white Honda CRV and a white Volkswagen Golf were traveling southbound on the Pacific Motorway when both drivers allegedly started driving dangerously and interacting between each other.

Both vehicles turned onto Gooding Drive where they have collided while traveling in the same direction.

The crash occurred near a petrol station, about 400 metres past a fast-food restaurant.

No one was injured as a result of the crash however both vehicles sustained damage.

Police are appealing to anyone with information or dash cam vision of the alleged road rage or the crash, to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
