The Northern Territory Police Force is calling for information in relation to a fatal crash involving a pedestrian that occurred in Alice Springs overnight.
About 9:30pm, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received a report of an unresponsive adult male pedestrian located on the road at Len Kittle Drive, Alice Springs.
Emergency services responded and the male was declared deceased at the scene.
The incident is currently being investigated as a hit and run, as the male is believed to have suffered head injuries consistent with a vehicle strike.
A crime scene was established, and investigations remain ongoing.
The victim is yet to be formally identified.
